209 wildfires in 47 provinces have been taken under control in the last 10 days in Turkey, Turkish Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Bekir Pakdemirli made a Twitter post regarding the current situation of the wildfires, APA’s local bureau reports.
The minister noted that fight in order to extinguish and prevent the fire in 8 wildfires in Mugla, (two fires in each of Marmaris and Milas districts, two fires in Kavaklıdere, Yılanlı, Seyidkemer, and Yatagan), 2 wildfires in Aydın (Karacasu, Bozdoğan), a wildfire in each of Isparta (Dairymen), Karaburk (Center) and Burdur (Golhisar) and in total 13 wildfires are being continued.
