In a massive setback to the Afghanistan government on Saturday, President Ashraf Ghani is likely to resign from his post as the Taliban gained more ground in the war-torn nation.
As per reports, Ghani, who has already recorded his resignation statement will address the nation at 2:30 PM IST. In the latest offensive, the terror group has launched an offensive on Mazar-e-Sharif, a major city in northern Afghanistan defended by powerful former warlords, after taking over Logar province.
