Canada has donated 155mm M777 howitzers to Ukraine, Report informs, citing a tweet by Canadian Minister of National Defense Anita Anand.
“Canada stands with Ukraine. We have delivered a number of M777 howitzers and associated ammunition to Ukrainian Forces in conjunction with the USA,” she said.
We have also provided Ukraine with additional Carl Gustaf ammunition, and we will provide armored vehicles and other support.
In addition, she said that the official Ottawa will provide armored vehicles and other support to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Canadian television channel CBC reports that Ukraine received 4 relatively new M777 howitzers.
