A 5.2 magnitude earthquake hits Turkish province of Malatya

A magnitude 5.2 earthquake jolted eastern Turkey on Saturday, according to the nation’s disaster agency.

The earthquake occurred in the Pütürge district of Malatya province at 5:02 p.m. local time, the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) said.

It was felt in the neighboring provinces as well.
