News Agencies – The informal 5 + 1 group meetings on Cyprus kicked off in Geneva, Switzerland, with a bilateral meeting between the Secretary-General of the United Nations, António Guterres, and the President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Ersin Tatar.

Earlier on Tuesday, United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said he is being “realistic” about the prospect of progress during key talks on reunifying Cyprus, and urged Greek and Turkish Cypriot parties to “be creative” in their approach.
