Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian and his visiting Qatari counterpart Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani held talks here on Thursday.
Amirabdollahian welcomed his Qatari counterpart at the Foreign Ministry office in Tehran.
Talks between the two are underway.
Al Jazeera news channel reported late on Wednesday that Qatari foreign minister will discuss regional issues in Tehran.
