Ex-President of Moldova detained for 72 hours over suspicion of corruption

Ex-President of Moldova Igor Dodon was detained for 72 hours following searches in his residence Tuesday over suspicion of corruption, Moldavian Prosecutor General’s spokeswoman Mariana Cherpec told TASS.

“Ex-President of the Republic of Moldova was detained for 72 hours,” she said.
