Extraordinary Summit of Turkic Council held through videoconferencing

On the initiative of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, chairman of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States Ilham Aliyev, an extraordinary Summit of the Turkic Council has been held through videoconferencing, APA reports.

The Summit focused on the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.

President Ilham Aliyev made a speech at the Summit.

An extraordinary Summit of the Turkic Council through videoconferencing has started at 12.56, APA reports.The meeting has been attended by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Kazakhstan President  Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Kyrgyzstan President Sooronbay Jeenbekov, Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban, Secretary-General of the Turkish Council Baghdad Amreyev and Director General of the World Health Organization (WHO) Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus.

At the end of the meeting, the participants adopted a Joint Declaration.

Note that the extraordinary Summit of the Turkic Council through videoconferencing was held on the initiative of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, chairman of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States Ilham Aliyev.
