Iran and China stress the importance to implement a comprehensive 25-year cooperation deal

Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian in a telephone conversation with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi emphasized the need to implement a comprehensive 25-year cooperation program.

The Iranian foreign minister also praised China’s valuable support in providing Iran’s required vaccine and exchanged views on the latest situation of the JCPOA.

Wáng Yì, a member of the state council and China’s foreign minister, also stressed Beijing’s position on the need for a full return of all parties to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action and praised Iran’s position in this regard.

Welcoming the beginning of talks between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the European side, the Chinese foreign minister stressed that he has instructed his colleagues to continue close consultations between the two countries.

Announcing Beijing’s readiness to implement the 25-year cooperation document, the Chinese foreign minister stressed Beijing’s commitment to continue working with Tehran to curb COVID-19 disease and provide the required vaccine at any extent and for as long as Tehran requests.

The Chinese foreign minister stressed that the will of the leaders of the two countries is to fully expand bilateral relations, and therefore Beijing will continue to cooperate and consult with Iran at all levels, including mutual cooperation at regional and international levels.
