Moldovan National Army received $ 5 million worth military equipment from the US government.
According to the Ministry of Defense of Moldova, the equipment was delivered within the framework of the Plan for the Development and Transformation of the National Army in accordance with the provisions of the National Defense Strategy and the package of initiatives, aimed to strengthen the defense capability of the Republic of Moldova (DCBI).
“The delivery of equipment has become possible due to the good cooperation between the Republic of Moldova and the United States of America, established over the years. On this path, I want to thank our partners for the constant support provided in the logistics, education and training of Moldovan military personnel, especially in the framework of exercises for international peacekeeping missions, ” Minister of Defense Anatoly Nosatii said.
The military equipment will be delivered in several batches by the end of this year and will be distributed among the units of the National Army.
