Moldova’s new president: “We must immediately restore bilateral relations with Ukraine”

APA – Moldova’s newly elected President Maya Sandu spoke at a meeting with Ukrainian Ambassador to Moldova Mark Shevchenko about the need to restore frozen bilateral cooperation with Kiev.

APA reports quoting TASS that the press service of the Movement and Solidarity Party led by M. Sandu reported this.

“We have a lot of common problems and a lot of goals that we can achieve together. We must lift Moldova out of isolation and immediately restore bilateral relations with Ukraine, “the statement said.

During the conversation, Sandu stressed the importance of developing a strategic partnership between the two countries.

On Wednesday, Sandu also met with the ambassadors of the European Union, the United States, Russia and Romania.
