Thousands of Sudanese demonstrated in the capital Khartoum on Thursday to demand full civilian rule.
The rally was called by the Resistance Committees, a protest group that led demonstrations against the military, and the Sudanese Professional Association (SPA), which spearheaded protests against former President Omar al-Bashir.
“A complete civil state”, and “Freedom, peace, and justice” were among banners carried by protesters, amid chants against the military, according to an Anadolu Agency reporter on the ground.
