Russian Energy Minister Nikolai Shulginov said that the Russian side could join the TAPI gas pipeline project (Tajikistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India).
“We do not deny the possibility of participating in this project”, RIA Novosti quotes the minister.
Shulginov noted that initially it was necessary to solve several problems regarding the security of the section of this gas pipeline passing through Afghanistan.
