Russian Black Sea Fleet held drills in Crimea

The training of the Black Sea Fleet command staff took place in Crimea, the press service of the Fleet announced on Saturday.

“The gathering of the formations and units took place under the leadership of the commander of the Black Sea Fleet, Admiral Igor Osipov. The goal of the drills was to learn modern methods of using fleet in various missions,” the message reads.

According to the military, within the framework of the drills at the Opuk Crimean training ground, a technique of defence and seizure of a section of the coast was demonstrated.
