Azerbaycan24 – The Russian Energy Ministry, when making amendments to the draft General Scheme for the Development of the Gas Industry until 2035, has revised downward the forecasts for the volume of gas production and export by 2035, according to the latest edition of the General Scheme, Report informs referring to TASS.
Thus, according to new forecasts of the ministry, gas production by 2035 will differ from 838 billion cubic meters to 1.048 trillion cubic meters. In the previous version of the document, this figure was within 847 billion cubic meters – 1.055 trillion cubic meters. At the same time, the forecasts for the volume of gas production by 2025 practically didn’t change and in the latest version of the General Scheme project amounted to 775-883 billion cubic meters compared to 775-888 billion cubic meters in the previous edition.
