The Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi held talks in Cairo. The parties discussed issues of strengthening bilateral cooperation and the Middle East settlement.
“During the meeting, bilateral relations between the fraternal countries were discussed, as well as ways to strengthen and develop them in various fields, especially in the field of investment, energy, defense, culture and sports”, the Qatari News Agency reported.
It is specified that this is the first official visit of Al Thani to Egypt since 2015.
