The Final Results of the Parliamentary Elections in Moldova Are Announced

The Central Election Commission approved the results of the last parliamentary elections on March 3, 2019.

During the meeting, members of the CEC calculated the mandates of the elected deputies at the national level and in single-member districts.

Thus, on party lists the Socialist Party received 18 mandates, the ACUM bloc – 14 mandates, the PDM – 13 mandates, the Shor party – 5 mandates.

In single-mandate constituencies, the Socialist Party received 17 mandates, the Democratic Party – 17, the ACUM bloc – 12, the Shor Party – 2. In addition, three independent candidates will be elected to the parliament. Of the total number of deputies, 25 are women and 76 are men.

The results of the parliamentary elections will be sent to the Constitutional Court, which has to approve or reject the results of the elections within 5 days.
