U.S. Defense Department Spokesman John Kirby said the U.S. to help India in building a more modern military.
“I think we’re going to have these conversations with India going forward… What matters here is that we have an important defense partnership with India and we’re going to look for ways to continue to improve that going forward,” he told a press briefing.
Addressing a joint press conference yesterday, US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said the United States will consider a range of options to make the U.S. systems, U.S. military equipment more affordable to Delhi.
