Turkish and Iranian foreign ministers held a phone conversation

In a telephone conversation with his Turkish counterpart, Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian stressed Iran’s policy based on the autonomy, sovereignty and territorial integrity of its neighbors and not allowing mischief of the ill-wishers to create problems in neighborly relations.

Talking to his Turkish counterpart Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Amirabdullahian exchanged views about the latest developments in bilateral relations and regional and international issues, including the developments in Afghanistan, the two countries’ strategic meeting and the visit of high-ranking officials of the two countries.
Pointing to the importance of the ECO Summit for further regional cooperation, the two sides stressed the need for continued consultation between the two countries’ officials on issues of common concern.

During the call, Iran’s foreign minister informed his Turkish counterpart on the latest developments of the nuclear talks.
