Italy’s President Sergio Mattarella was elected to serve a second term at a joint session of both chambers of the Italian parliament on Saturday, APA reports.
The vote count is being broadcast on the website of the lower house.
According to that tally, Mattarella passed the required threshold of 505 votes.
