By Shabana Syed /Geopolitica/ – Marked similarities exist between the international fear generated through the orientalist War on Terror and Covid-19. The first generated fear of Muslims as potential “ticking bombs” who “hate our way of life,” while the second generated fear against “bat eating Chinese” blamed for the outbreak of a deadly virus. However, as this article will expose both are linked, along with US’s aim to vaccinate the world with “US approved” vaccines.
The endless war on terror has taken many shapes it has killed millions and destabilised many nations including Iraq Afghanistan Syria Libya, now the US is gearing up to destabilise China and its Belt Road Initiative, along with China’s allies Russia, Pakistan, and Iran. The alliance between these countries and the future multi-polar world they are presenting is the greatest threat US is facing to its unipolar global domination ambitions.
However, one can only assume it was coincidental that Coronavirus outbreak first took place in two countries US views as “an existential threat” China and Iran. What is more coincidental is the outbreak took place against a background of high levels of US military activity in the Asian Pacific, part of US’s ‘Pivot to Asia’ strategy outlined by influential Washington and Israel based think tanks like Atlantic Council and RAND. The RAND report formulated with the US military titled War with China: Thinking the unthinkable (2016) exposed how top levels of America’s military are planning for war. Veteran journalist John Pilger points out how there are over 400 US military bases that encircle China with missiles, warships, and nuclear weapons. “From Australia north through the Pacific to Japan, Korea and across Eurasia to Afghanistan and India, the bases form “the perfect noose”.
Professor David Vine, author of Island of Shame: The secret history of the US Military base in Diego Garcia (2009) states, US controls around 800 overseas facilities in more than 70 countries which include nuclear weapons and CIA paramilitary bases including CIA “black site” prisons. Most of these bases surround China Russia and Iran, with 60,000 American troops stationed in the region of Iran. Add to this are hundreds of biological warfare labs decked around the world, many in Ukraine across the border from Russia.
