US-North Korea Summit:

Nothing Has Changed

The second summit between the head of the White House, Donald Trump, and the DPRK leader, Kim Jong-un, ended without signing any final document. The US president said that “the documents for signing were ready,” but were not signed, because the parties did not reach a compromise. Kim Jong-un, according to Donald Trump, demanded the lifting of all sanctions in exchange for partial nuclear disarmament, but the US delegation was not satisfied.

“Sometimes you just need to get up and leave the negotiations,” repeated Donald Trump several times, citing his decision to leave the negotiations ahead of time and without signing any documents.
