Romania bans Russian ships from entering its ports

by Vestnik Kavkaza

Ships registered in the Russian Federation will no longer be able to stay in Romanian ports on the Black Sea or on the Danube, TVR reports, citing the country’s naval department.

The ban also applies to yachts and pleasure crafts.

Starting from April 17, the authorities banned “the entry into Romanian ports of any ship registered under the Russian flag, including ships that changed the flag of the Russian Federation to the flag of any other country or changed the flag of registration in Russia before registering in any other state after February 24, 2022.”
