The Swedish Foreign Ministry summoned Russia’s ambassador to this country, Viktor Tatarintsev, after the Russian SU-27 and the Swedish reconnaissance aircraft over the Baltic Sea approached.
The command of the Swedish armed forces claims that the Russian fighter made an “interception” of the Swedish reconnaissance aircraft flying the Kaliningrad region.
The Russian Defense Ministry said that the air target was fixed to the borders of the country with the means of controlling the airspace of Russia, so the Su-27 was raised into the air.
