“Ukraine’s membership in NATO will not be on the agenda of tomorrow’s NATO Leaders’ Summit,” said NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg at a briefing on the summit.
He noted that the war in Ukraine should not turn into a conflict between NATO and Russia, otherwise it will lead to more casualties and destruction.
Stoltenberg also stressed the importance of China’s role.
“Beijing has joined Moscow. China gave political support to Russia. As allies, we plan to prevent support for this Russian occupation. We also call on China, a member of the UN Security Council, to act responsibly, “he said.
