Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday declared a partial mobilization plan. Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu clarified that a total of 300,000 men – about 1% of the mobilization potential – would be called up for military service.
Mobilization will concern those who have already served in the army, primarily those with combat experience and a military specialty.
