The Moldovan authorities decided to sue the Russian company “Gazprom” because it reduced the volume of gas supplies, violating the contract, Minister of Infrastructure Andrei Spinu told Pro TV Channel, Report informs.
According to him, lawyers are analyzing the possibility of applying sanctions for non-compliance with the contract in the matter of deliveries of the entire volume. “When it becomes clear, we will decide what actions to take and in what direction to move.”
He added that the Russian company did not explain in any way its decision to reduce supplies, although Chisinau always pays for them.
