Defense Ministers of Russia, Turkiye and Syria held a tripartite meeting in Moscow

It was revealed why Turkiye’s Minister of National Defense and the head of National Intelligence Agency visited Russia, APA‘s Moscow bureau reports citing the press service of the Russia Ministry of Defense.

On December 28, tripartite talks among the defense ministers of the Russian Federation, Syria and Turkiye were held in Moscow.

 

The defense ministers discussed the necessity of continuing the tripartite dialogue for stabilization in the region in the talks attended by intelligence chiefs of all three countries.

In Moscow, Russian, Syrian, and Turkish defense ministers also discussed the Syrian crisis and measures to combat extremists in the country.

Minister of National Defense of Turkiye Hulusi Akar and Head of Turkiye’s National Intelligence Agency (MİT) Hakan Fidan are on a visit to Moscow, APA reports citing NTV TV channel.

Noted that they will hold several meetings in the capital of Russia.
