The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Boris Johnson will pay an official visit to India on April 21-22, Report informs, citing the Prime Minister’s Office.
Johnson’s first visit to India as head of the British government is aimed at deepening a long-term partnership for peace and prosperity in the face of global economic challenges and threats from authoritarian regimes.
On April 21, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom will visit the western city of Ahmedabad (Gujarat), where he will meet with representatives of local business circles. It is estimated that about half of Brits of Indian descent come from this region.
