Romania Parliament recognizes Holodomor 1932-1933 in Ukraine as a crime against humanity

Lawmakers of both houses of the Parliament of Romania voted at a joint meeting on November 23 in favor of a declaration condemning the man-made famine (Holodomor) in Ukraine in 1932-1933, APA reports citing Ukrinform.

“At a joint meeting of the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of Romania, a political Declaration was adopted recognizing the Holodomor (the purposeful man-made famine of 1932-1933 in Ukraine) as a crime against the Ukrainian people and against humanity,” the press service of the Embassy of Ukraine in Romania reports.
