Russian President Vladimir Putin on Saturday submitted for ratification to the State Duma the Russian-Syrian treaty on the extradition of criminals.
Under the treaty, Russia and Syria agree to extradite to each other persons sought by the authorities for trial or punishment for extraditable offenses.
