Iraqi military officials, one of whom is the head of an armed group based in northern Iraq, told Sharq al-Awsat: Americans are re-establishing themselves in the region. These are preparations for a military operation that will not be inside Iraq: “The armed groups suggest that the strategic goal of this operation is to change the rules of conflict with the Russians in Syria.”
The reports received by the Lebanese Hezbollah indicate that American forces have established training camps for ISIS-affiliated terrorist groups in the east of the Euphrates in Syria, specifically in the two regions of Bokmal and Deir ez-Zor. In recent months, the Americans have considered and implemented new training for the reconstruction of ISIS in order to attack the axis of resistance and provide the necessary grounds for creating insecurity in Iran, Iraq and Syria.
