During the visit of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei to the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) Aerospace Force achievements exhibition, the Iranian-made “Fattah 2” hypersonic missile was unveiled.

The exhibition, held at Ashura Aerospace Science and Technology University, showcased the latest advancements in Iran’s aerospace technology. One of the highlights of the event was the unveiling of the homegrown “Fattah 2” hypersonic missile during the Supreme Leader’s tour.

The “Fattah 2” is a state-of-the-art missile with glide capability, placing it in the HGV and HCM classes of hypersonic weapons. This technological achievement underscores Iran’s position as one of only four countries worldwide capable of manufacturing this type of hypersonic weapon.

The IRGC unveiled Fattah home-made hypersonic missile on June 6.
