United Kingdom and Poland conclude £1.9 billion worth deal on missile exports

A huge missile export agreement worth £1.9 billion ($2.3 billion) between the UK and Poland was reached on Friday, and it will result in the installation of a British air defense system in Poland.

The agreement, which will be finalized by the UK company MBDA, will give Poland cutting-edge ground-based air defense capabilities to safeguard it for many years to come.

22 Polish air defense batteries will receive 22 UK Common Anti-Air Modular Missiles (CAMMs) and launchers from the UK.

One of the largest bilateral European air defense agreements of its sort within NATO, it will boost relations between the two nations while also generating jobs in the UK.
