IRNA – The 16th round of international talks on Syria within the framework of Astana Format began on Wednesday in Kazakhstan’s capital city of Nur-Sultan and it is attended by delegations from Iran, Russia, Turkey and Syrian government and opposition.
The last round of talks, the 15th round, was held late last year in Sochi, Russia.
The situation in Syria, the Committee of the Syrian Constitution in Geneva, international aid and some relieving measures like prisoner swap and releasing hostages are at the center of discussion in this round.
