Türkiye’s Anka-3 combat drone to make its first flight in next days

With its “flying-wing” structure providing low radar visibility, high-speed transfer capability, and high payload, Türkiye’s combat drone Anka-3 has landed on the runway and is eagerly awaiting its first flight.

According to Bulent Korkem, the uncrewed aerial vehicles engineering director of TAI, Anka-3, which has no tail surface, has many benefits.

“Low radar visibility is one of its design’s benefits, and it’s the most significant one. The visibility is greatly reduced because the aircraft has no horizontal nor vertical tails. It is feasible to further limit the visibility with a few further steps, according to Korkem.
