Belarus extends grain crops export ban

Belarus has extended the ban on the export of grain crops, including wheat, rye, barley, and buckwheat, outside the country, Report informs citing TASS.

“A temporary ban is established on the export of goods from Belarus to the states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) according to the list in the annex, regardless of the country of origin,” reads a decree signed by the country’s prime minister and published on September 24.

Belarus also banned the export of grain outside the customs territory of the EAEU in the republic to countries that are not member states of this organization. The ban also affected goods when they were placed under customs procedures for export, temporary export, processing outside the customs territory and re-export.
