“I am saddened by the news of the explosion on Bai Bureh Road in (residential area – ed.) The amount of material damage is unknown,” she wrote, also expressing condolences to the relatives of the victims.

According to local media reports, the number of victims can be estimated at several hundred. This is due to the fact that many people ran to the crashed gasoline tanker to collect free fuel. It was at this moment that the explosion occurred. Many people were burned and injured. Dozens of buildings were damaged. Two gas stations burned down.
