Gas price in Europe reached $2,070 per 1,000 cubic meters

At the end of auctions held yesterday, the price of 1,000 cubic meters of gas in Europe reached 2,070 US dollars at yesterday’s trade closing, APA-Economics reports.

On August 9, the price of September futures at the Title Transfer Facility (TTF) of the Netherlands, which is considered the most liquid virtual sales center in Europe, was $2,068.2, 1.6 times higher than the previous calculation price.

Notably, on March 7 of this year, the gas price in Europe rose to a maximum of 3,900 dollars, setting a record several times during the day.
