APA – Syria’s higher constitutional court on Monday approved President Bashar al-Assad’s application to run in a May 26 presidential election, APA reports citing Reuters.
The court cleared two other candidates, Abdallah Saloum Abdallah and Mahmoud Ahmed Marei.
