Russians submitted over 1 million questions for “Direct Line with Vladimir Putin”

Vestnik Kavkaza – Russians have so far submitted 1,256,048 questions for Russian President Vladimir Putin’s live question-and-answer session, the Rossiya 24 TV channel reported on Wednesday.

According to the TV channel, as of 09:05 Moscow time on Wednesday, 658,183 questions were submitted through the call center. Russians also asked 331,070 questions via SMS or MMS, 129,336 through the program’s website, and 103,972 via the Moskva-Putinu mobile app. Another 33,487 questions were received via social networks.

The TV channel noted that vaccination and the fight against COVID-19 were the most popular topics.

The event headlined ‘Direct Line with Vladimir Putin,’ will be held on Wednesday, June 30. According to the Kremlin press service, anyone can submit their questions via a special mobile application, which makes it technologically possible to have an immediate video connection with the studio during the broadcast. Questions are also received via the program’s website, in text or MMS messages, or by phone.
